I was so impressed with what I had, but I talked to my next door neighbor and he actually went with the whole of the dual system.
I had just the water filtering system with one tank at first and we had it for almost two years.
They were about 60 miles away, so I just went with a local plumbing company and had them make me a bid in coming out and installing it once I got the system shipped. Pelican recommended a company that wasn’t even close to where we live. In fact, we went to the point of writing a letter on his behalf to the president of the company. The guy should either get a raise or a promotion. He found a few that fit the bill and saved me some money. I am a disabled veteran and once he found that out, he looked diligently for any programs that could offer me some discounting as a veteran. On top of that, the rep was also extremely accommodating. Even Pelican’s website was very informative. He was a young man but was very informative and very knowledgeable. On the other hand, the man from Pelican who was on the phone with me answered all of my questions perfectly. They were 40 and 50-year-old residents passing themselves off as professionals. These were people who were in the business of selling this stuff but they couldn't answer any of the questions that I had. I researched multiple systems and I had people come out to the house. If you’re gonna buy something, Pelican is the one they should buy. I have recommended Pelican to many people at this point. But she was here for the week and she had not used any conditioner on her hair. My sister said that in Texas, she would use $9 worth of conditioner on her hair because it would be all frizzy and dried out. I have a brother up in Ohio and a sister out in Texas, and they’ve both commented on that as well.

The other thing I noticed that is extremely different is how our skin feels after showering. But now, it doesn’t matter if it’s for a month or three months, there is no brown water or residue of any kind. That bathroom could go without usage for a month and before, we'd have to go back there and scour the amount of stain off of the bowl. We have one bathroom in the middle of nowhere in the house and we don’t go there.
My wife also said that if you have rigorous city water or regular water of any kind, your toilets are constantly dirty. We are always available for any additional questions. The conversation you had with technical support today explained that you would have to add a softener to deal with hard water, so a suggestion and solution was offered. As you noted in your feedback the system has resolved those water quality issues. We sold you the system that would resolve the issues you told us about which was the sulfur and bacteria. There is however a nasty sulphuric smell. We had it tested, and there is no bacteria. Your only concern was the following: "My husband and I bought a home in Texas that has well water. Regarding your claim of our system being a total waste of money and very shady We reviewed your live chat transcript with our agents and you never once mentioned you were concerned with or had hard water. Since you hired and paid that installer separate from Pelican Water, we recommend you contact them about the quality of their install. We are sorry to hear the installer you hired did not do the job in a satisfactory way.
